Ms. Maya Larson began studying martial arts at age seven while her family was stationed in Seoul, Korea with the military. She successfully completed the Kukkiwon’s 1st Poom Tae Kwon Do Promotion test and earned her Black Belt at age nine. After a long hiatus, she joined the Chomic Combat Karate team in 2023, where she is currently a Cho Dan Bo - black belt candidate, instructing classes and training to achieve her black belt status in the World Tang Soo Do Association.
